Inspiring your homeschooling journey, one day at a time

About us

Hi, I’m Annabella — mum, home educator, and the heart behind Our Homeschool Life.

We don’t recreate school at home.
We live, learn, and grow through real life — together.

Alongside my husband, Tolu, who works to provide for our family, I home educate our two little ones, Lidia and Soul. Our days are guided by rhythm rather than routine, curiosity rather than curriculum, and connection over control. Learning unfolds naturally — in the kitchen, at the markets, in nature, through conversations, play, creativity, and the beautifully ordinary moments that make up our days.

Our family story is layered and rich. Tolu’s sons, Patrick and Ezrah, and my daughters, Kymberlee and Katelin, are an important part of our lives, and I’m also a proud grandma to Matthew, Eli, and Kamillah — a role that continually reminds me how powerful it is to nurture learning, love, and belonging across generations.

At the heart of Our Homeschool Life is a deep belief that childhood is not something to rush, measure, or standardise. It’s something to be lived. As homeschooling parents, we are the ones creating the environment, the memories, and the experiences that shape our children’s inner worlds. There is no institution doing this for us — it’s us, showing up each day with intention, flexibility, and heart.

Beyond homeschooling, I also share my Soul Work — a body of reflections, insights, and inner exploration that weaves through motherhood, identity, mindset, and life design. It’s the space where I process and share what I’m learning and becoming as I navigate a life led by intuition, alignment, and conscious creation. It continues to evolve as I do.

Through this space, I share our real homeschool life — the messy days, the magical moments, the lessons, the reflections, and the quiet shifts that happen when you choose a different path. If you’re here, chances are you’re craving more freedom, more presence, and a way of living and learning that feels more human.

You’re not alone.
And you don’t have to have it all figured out.

Welcome to Our Homeschool Life — lived slowly, intentionally, and wholeheartedly.

Warmly,
Annabella 🤍
